In this electronic medical record system, anytime you open a patient chart, this note can pop up or be bypassed. There are two essential windows in this patient note. The top is a note box for any pertinent info for that visit. The front desk can enter something, the nurse can enter something, etc. The second window is the extended notes area – this is for health maintenance that is pertinent from the chart. The notes windows are basically used as a “heads up” on the patient, similar to a flash note or a stop note. |
