Pharmaceutical Sales Salary
There are alot of inquiries about pharmaceutical sales salary, so I will give you my personal experience.
I was hired in 1998, so you are talking a span of 12 years ago that I was at the entry level position.
At that time, my beginning salary was $45,000 and my bonus was around $18,000.
I was provided with: a new car which included all my gas and repairs, car insurance, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, matching 401k program, and a non-employee contributed pension.
When I left in 2005, I still had the above perks, but my salary was at $72,900.
So, in 7 years, my salary was increased by $17,900 or by approximately $2500 per year. During that time, my bonus ranged from 12,000 - $20,000 per year.
I do keep in touch with many of those who were hired in the same year I was and who went thru pharmaceutical training with me, and their typical salaries now are $85,000 - $105,000.
The most recent recruiting I have done was for an entry level pharmaceutical sales job and the salary range was
$47,000 - $52,000.
